Outreach Activities Ticket to Work Are  you Receiving SSDI? Are you Receiving SSI?

he Ticket to Work and Self-Sufficiency Program is the centerpiece of this National legislation, designed to help people with disabilities that are receiving Supplementary Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI ). The program helps find the training and support they need to go to work and remain on the job.

Who is eligible to receive the Ticket to Work?

The Social Security Administration determines which SSI and Social Security Disability (SSDI) beneficiaries are eligible to receive Tickets. Generally, eligible beneficiaries:

  • Are 18 or older and have not reached age 65.

  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Beneficiaries.

  • Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) Beneficiaries.

How to use the Ticket to Work?

You can take the ticket to Employment Support Services Organizations, Department of Rehabilitations, One Stop Centers  and Employment Networks to obtain:

  • Vocational Rehabilitation

  • Job Training

  • Job Search Assistance

  • Resume Writing
